FAQ – Sigrid Latex
Welcome to the FAQ – here, I answer all the questions you might have before or after your purchase. If you don’t find your answer here, feel free to contact me directly by email or on Instagram.
🧵 Production & Shipping
What are the production times? Production times are shown in red on the cart page, where they are regularly updated depending on the number of orders. They are usually around 4 weeks. If you need your order by a specific date, feel free to email me – I’ll let you know if it’s possible.
Why have the prices changed on the cart page? Prices vary depending on the country. For EU countries, prices include VAT. For non-EU countries, the prices are without taxes.
I live outside the EU, will I have to pay customs fees or taxes later? Yes, you purchase tax-free, but your country’s customs may ask you to pay VAT and additional customs fees. I recommend checking with your local authorities before placing your order to avoid surprises.
Do you ship worldwide? Yes, I ship worldwide.
What are the delivery times and fees? Every piece is handmade in my workshop in Auvergne. Shipping time depends on your location.
Colissimo:
- France: Around 2 to 3 working days
- Europe: Around 3 to 8 working days
- International: Around 1 to 3 weeks
Mondial Relay:
- France: Around 3 to 5 working days
- International: Around 1 to 2 weeks
Customs fees may apply for non-EU countries (Switzerland, UK, Canada, etc.). These are the buyer’s responsibility.
Are parcels discreet? Yes, they are plain. The brand name is not written on the parcel. The sender appears as “Sigrid” only – not “Sigrid Latex”. Mondial Relay is also available for customers in France.
📏 Custom Sizes
How do I take my measurements? Need help with measurements? You’ll find everything you need on the size guide page.
What if I have a non-standard body shape? No worries, I work with all body types – from size 32 to 60+, men, women, non-binary, or transitioning. If your body doesn’t fit standard charts, just send me your measurements by email or in your order notes. I’ll make sure the piece fits you properly.
✨ Care & Shine
How do I care for latex?
- Hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild, oil-free soap.
- Air dry on a hanger away from direct sunlight.
- Powder the inside once dry or use a product like Vivishine.
Why is my new garment matte? This is normal – I powder the latex with talc during production. Just use Vivishine to bring back the shine.
How should I store it? Hang on a hanger, away from sunlight (direct or indirect), or fold with tissue paper in a dry, cool place. More info is available on the “All About Latex Clothing” page.
🎗 Dressing & Comfort
How do I put on latex clothing?
- Remove jewelry and be careful with long nails.
- Use a special dressing aid (Vivishine/Vividress) or talc.
- Dress slowly – latex fits like a second skin.

♻️ Repairs & Tips
My garment is damaged – can I fix it? Yes, I’ve written a full guide for minor repairs: Read the guide here
Do you offer a repair service? No, I no longer have the time to repair garments from other creators. However, if the piece was made by me, feel free to email me – I’ll do my best to help.
🧳 Customization
Can I change a color or detail on a model? Yes! I offer customization on several models with a wide selection of colors. Some models can be adapted (length, cuts, transparency, sleeve length, added zippers, etc.). Feel free to contact me.
✉️ Returns & Exchanges
Can I return or exchange an item? Custom-made or personalized items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable (as per the law). If your item has a defect upon receipt, please contact me within 7 days with pictures. We’ll find a solution together. If your item is a standard size, an exchange is possible – but please choose your size carefully, as every piece is made to order.
🌿 Materials & Ethics
Is your latex eco-friendly? I use natural latex. My offcuts are recycled into other creations under La Fessée Artisanale, and I use no plastic in my packaging.
What kind of packaging do you use? Simple, recyclable, and protective packaging. No frills.
What latex thicknesses do you use? I usually work with 0.4 mm latex for garments and 0.9 mm for accessories. If other thicknesses are used, it’s mentioned on the product page.
ℹ️ Other Questions
What if I’m allergic to latex? If you’re unsure, contact me – I can send you a small sample of material for testing.
What if I tear my garment? Latex is delicate. Improper handling may cause damage. If this happens, contact me – if repair is possible, I’ll help. However, I can’t be held responsible for tears due to misuse.
Do you offer post-purchase support? Yes, you can reach out anytime with questions – even after you’ve received your order. I love keeping in touch with my customers!
